"The works which I drew by 70 years old were not worth if I took it really. I became 73 years old, and can finally understand the frame of the animal and the birth of the plant now.
I will advance more and more if I become 80 years old.
I will master the art of the picture if I become 90 years old.
I will be called an act of God if I become 100 years old."
He lived to 90 years old and when he died, he said as follows.
"I will be familiar with a genuine painter if I can live the next 5 years."
